Need to know info on car.
The worst thing about this is the Salesman isn't at fault, he's a good guy, matter of fact, he and I were both on Vacation. I think that's when it happened. I never dropped it off, the car came in while I was on vacation. Paper work had already been handled and work was done before I was to pick it up, this way I never needed to bring it back in.
As for what I paid for the car...I paid a good bit under $30K even after mods, taxes, and everything else added in. There's something to be said about buying 2 Mustangs within 3 months of one another from the same dealership.

...well... it's your investment. I understand the salesman might be a great guy, but someone took your car for a 65 mile ride and got 11 mpg, and someone is responsible...
I'd be raising hell, but if you can live with the uncertainty of it, then it's your call. I still say a nice talk with the owner of the dealership is in order.
Best of luck, and hope enjoy the new ride as much as the tint guy did!

Even though the salesman is a great guy and it isn't his fault, I am making complaints, and having this whole thing followed through on. It isn't the salesmans fault, so he should get in trouble. Something is going to be done.
I don't blame you 2stangs. When I got my car, it had 67 miles on it. 10 of those miles is what I put on it test driving. It was an ordered car for someone else but they backed out. It was test driven between the time they recieved the car and the time I bought it. But you are in a different situation. Your car was ordered for you and only you. It was not ordered to be test driven by every Tom, Dick and Harry who came into the dealership. Even with taking it to the tint shop that you say was about a mile away, there should not have been more than 10 miles on the car when you picked it up.
Now if you have the normal 3 year 36,000 mile warranty and they state that your warranty is up at 36,010 miles and something goes out at 36,011 miles, you will not be covered. Even though you should have been covered to 36,070 miles. That's 70 miles on the car when you picked it instead of the 10 that you signed for.

Well, I'm done speaking with all the people who had access to the car. The guy who let out the car for the tinting is the guy that runs the Ford Plus station, and he made me even more mad than I already was. (Plus station is a place where they do some service, and after market stuff, and it's all covered by warrenty.)
He said I can have two oil changes for free. Now, he's not able to offer more, so I don't blame him, but I plan on talking with the people that can give me more. I was insulted at the offer of two oil changes.
Should I go straight to the owner, or should I deal with someone else first? I am not going to deal with the floor sales manager.

Go to the top,
Anyone lower may be the one who drove it, and will cover it up.
I think the dealership is 100% at fault, they should throw in an extended warranty.
Tell them If they didn't do anything to you're car on their joy ride, they have nothing to worry about.

I asked them to complete the next few mods I had planned for free, (Parts & Labor) and some other things to go with the car. The GM said he had to sleep on it. Things are working out. The GM was upset to hear about what happened. Other than this one thing, the Dealership has been really great to deal with.
