Default new guy... wanting to buy

Hey guys I'm new here. I am 23 years old and am the proud owner of a 1965 Fastaback. I am about to graduate from the UT and am looking to add to my stable.

here's is the link to one I am interested in. Let me know what you think.

Ask for some interior pics, where the gt badges are, and why the hell he wants so much! Overpriced a couple thousand IMO, especially for an auto.

For 63K miles and 16K dollars to buy you can get it for cheaper and with a warranty...if you must buy that one ask for no more then 14.5K and go from there.

Welcome,

What part of Tenn.? I have a good friend in Cleveland Tenn, finishing my 65' coupe. He's a great source for the Classic Stangs.

thanks for all the input. I got him down to $15,900. But there was some gear whine from the 3.73s. Is that normal? I don't know much about gear changes. I am having my cousin, who is a gear head, go and check it out though. Its a beatiful car and well cared for. The wheels and tires are brand new and that is why he asked so much for it. The only concern is the gear whine.

I agree with the rest here, KEEP LOOKING...thats a lot of miles and money for a '05. You should be able to get a '07 for that price now, especially when you can buy a brand new one in the low 20's.
