Default Gauge cluster swap question

Originally mine has the low budget gauge cluster MINUS the IUP with the four pack of center gauges. I dont want the IUP but would I be able to just swap in the upgraded cluster for more on board gauges? Are the wires already in the harness behind the dash making it an easy addition or maybe its just all in the main plug through the pcm? I am old school so forgive me asking such a dumb question. In old days, the gauges were all separate but I thinking in this case its all through the computer. Do I need a re-flash to get the other two gauges to function??? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

the entire cluster is one sealed piece and there is a single wire harness that plugs into the a receiver behind the cluster.

Chopperman,

That part number is not for an 2007 model. They changed the connector on the back. Over at TMS there is a huge thread about the cluster swap and the newer part number for the switch is 6R3Z-18578-AA

Here is a link to the TMS thread
