Default Any stangs with a hitch on them?

Ive seen a kit for the v6 but never looked into it for a gt. I was kinda hoping to find a kit that i could install on my car that would be hidden, unless i needed it. Like bolts behind the bumper, with a peive that attaches for use when i need it.
Anyone know of something like this? I gotta drive to florida soon to pick up a new jet ski, and id rather do it in my stang then our sequoia. A little more fun and better economy.

also, the jet ski only weights around 310, plus the trailer, so its not a huge load.

Default Hitch Fit Problems?

Here is the one I tried to get installed,

http://search.cartserver.com/search/...STANG&GO=GO%21

but I have Flowmaster Muffs and they are wider than the OEM ones and the hitch wouldn't fit. I wanted to use a bike carrier and once in a while tow my motorcycle for quick trips to NM/CO.
It also looks like it won't fit your CS rear bumper??? You could buy this one, take it to a good welder and he could modify it. You could have him make the reciever part go verticle and modify the stinger, that way it would be hidden under the car except when in use.

Dad had a Camaro back in the day that we towed our boat to the lake in. You do what you have to out of necessity, take it to a muffler shop and see if they can make you something custom up. It needs to be strong, but not extreme when your talking about a few hundred pounds.

Yep, my dad got a tow bar/hitch installed on his Taurus at U-Haul.
The tow bar was completely hidden behind the bumper. The hitch was long and curved so it would hook into the tow bar behind the bumper and curve under the bumper and up around it. We just took the hitch out and it was hidden.

I'll probably get one eventually to tow a small trailer for track wheels and tools. No time soon, though.

Heres a link with a bunch of pics and it is not really noticeable.Since you seem to be doing it as a one time deal wouldnt matter anyway. I thought of possibly doing it to tow a small trailer with a jack and track tires and if I did it would have somone custom make it to come out behind the licence plate.

Some people use their Mustangs as their daily driver, and can only use the Stang to haul stuff.
