does anyone know what the button next to the cupholder is for? i saw a picture and was just curious.

 

Ambient Lighting. Optional in 2008 on not only the GT500, but the other Mustangs as well. My car has it.

my car was a demo without ambient lighting. how much would it be to put in? this is a necessity for every sketchy teenager (i'm 20 but still feel like a teen) that roams the streets at night.

 

+1 to the having ambient lighting. makes seeing things in the back floorboard a lot easier at night.

 

I picked up an Ambient Console from the junkyard for $150 ... even had the deluxe stitched lid on it! Had the factory harness pulled with it and was just a 3 wire hookup in my 2006 Mustang ....
