im taking the interior of my car apart to paint it. And i dont know how to take off the part of the dash that wraps around the AC vents and gauges. its usually silver in most cars. can anyone help?

 

may i suggest buy a chilton's repair manual, it will tell you how to fix, or in this case take apart, everything. you can buy them at a local auto store or online. if you just want this specific piece i can pm you on sunday to give you the directions out of the manual

 

I know it snaps in with clips .. Might have to remove the lower part first ,, Your taking the kick panels out already so the lower half will be easy

 

Whole thing needs to come out. These should help...
