Smile Cheapest Mod Yet!

I just finished my cheapest mod yet. Less than $3! I have a vinyl rear blackout, and after a couple of years, it had gotten a little ragged on the edge in places where things going in and out of the trunk had nicked it. I was going to replace it, but then I had a flash of inspiration. I bought a package of door edge protecters and put that on the edge. It covered up the ragged edges, and I think it looks very nice. It dresses up the edge very well. What do you think?

Google for "car door edge protectors" or "car door edge guard" if you want to get them online. Example:
http://www.brandsport.com/trmg-2205-b.html

The ones I used came from Wal-Mart. You can find them in any store that has an auto department or at any auto parts supplier. They just slip over the edge, and friction keeps them in place.
