Default Oil cooler...

Solo season is starting and I'm thinking of installing Ford Racing M-6642-S101 oil cooler kit on my 2007 GT, I've looked everywhere, but its not a common mod... any suggestions?

Not a bad idea. Give this thread some time and there will be someone who has done it already.

I'm assuming "solo time" is road/track racing?

You must not get the mossmuscle side of the world.
They have had a Cobalt kit for the GT for some years now.
And its on sale right now. $261.95
But it cannot beat the Summitt price for the Ford Racing M-6642-S101 $129.88.
But the Cobalt Kit seems to have more surface area for cooling....
And it fits the 05-09 S197 Mustang GT according to mossmuscle.

I don't believe that FRPP kit is for the modular V-8, as it says it's for engines which use the FL-1A filter. That's the filter for the "old" SB Ford engine. Ours use the FL-820S, which has a different thread (metric).
