Dynoed My Car on Saturday
I went to 98 Rock Fest in Tampa with one of my friends this past Friday and he told me that a buddy of his owns a dyno and tuning shop. Currently his dyno pulls are pretty cheap right now since they just opened up a few months ago. So I decided to get my car dynoed. 3 pulls for $30. Not a bad price. The place is called Proven Power and their website is www.provenpowertampa.com.
Here are the results. The ambient air was 92 degrees, so it was pretty hot out.
I was hoping for over 300 rwhp, but I am happy with the 293. He said my car was running a little rich. He said that he typically shoots for a A/F ratio of 13.5 for NA cars and 12.0 for FI cars. He said I could gain a few hp buy changing the tune to run a little leaner.
So far everyone I talked to was pretty impressed with those numbers. See my sig below for mods. The only engine upgrades are a JLT CAI and a tune from Bamachips (93 Performance).
What do you guys think?

dude they must have finally gotten their **** together. Its funny how they told me their $30 deal was only for the opening day. Maybe Ill take my car in for another pull and compare to their last pull, which resulted in 245hp...
lets just say I was not happy with them at all.

Glad they got their act together too. Congrats on the numbers. I'll never go back there though. As far as I'm concerned, they owe me $30! They "dynoed" my car and told me it was making 237 hp (after their first pull on my car showed 345, which is obvisously too high. Ended up having a custom tune done at S&R Performance in Tampa, which resulted in the numbers in my sig
