Most on the forum recommend the red top. I went with a Diehard.

If you are still within the warranty period, get a free one from your Ford dealership.

Red top for vehicle starting, yellow top for marine trolling.....

If I have to pay a little more to have my stang start 100% of the time,
then I will gladly pay for the sense of security it gives me.
But to save a little and get a questionable replacement for a
battery that died before its time is just crazy talk....

Motorcraft if within warranty period. Diehard otherwise IMO.

Optimas aren't worth the extra $$.

DieHards are just MotorCrafts with a DieHard stickers on them.
MotorCrafts are just DieHards with a MotorCraft sticker on it.
Exide makes em all and the different companies just print
labels. They also rate the same batteries different for
the same size. The manufacturer codes stamped into
the plastic under the labels tell it all....

The OP said his choices were red top or yellow top.
Not DieHard or MotorCraft....

What ever you get, check the 4 digit date code so you
dont get one thats been sitting around for years like
Sears was doing with the DieHards. Some were 6 years
old and Consumer Reports blew the whistle.
You want a fresh one.
G9 or G09 is July 09. A9 or A09 would be January 09 and so on.

The odd thing about that is the Diehard for the GT mustang is a different CCA rating than the OEM motorcraft.

Red tops are over priced, but that being said thats all I have in all of my cars. I just have good luck with them and they don't give me any issues.
