Default Why are these headers so cheap?

Hey guys I was thinking about installing some shorty headers on my 05 GT for a little extra power and sound and I came across these headers on ebay... they are really cheap compared to other headers. Whats the difference in these and say the MAC's or the BBK's? I know you usually get what you pay for so I wanted to see if anyone has tried these cheap headers? Sorry if this isnt posted in the correct spot, wasnt sure where to post... Mods feel free to move. Thanks guys!!!

It actually looks like they copied BBK's design. The only reason for buying name brand headers is fitment. You DO NOT want to take your whole car apart to find out that your new headers don't fit. I saw others on the forums ordered boost brothers long tube headers for cheap, but had to dent them with hammers to get them to clear the steering shaft and not rub on the chassis. If your stang is not your daily driver and you dont mind a giant headache of fitment problems, try them out.

I don't know. They look the same as the BBK shorties I have, but they don't appear to be ceramic coated in the pic. Plus the "policy" says all refunds final....

Yeah, the guy in the other thread did have fitment issues. But for that price, and they look like the BBK's, might be worth it. Maybe you should just save up and get longtubes. Thats what i wish i did...

poor fitment sucks. no matter how cheap the part is. bc you gotta spend more money to get them to fit, then you worry about the quality of the product. those other cheap LT's (not going to mention names), still dont fit properly even after all that hammering. one word of advise: DONT BUY CHEAP PARTS!!!!!!

Yeah after reading that... Im not going to penny pinch on my Stang parts just to pay extra in labor for bad fitting parts! On top of that... he didnt really get much more sound or power! F-THAT!
