Default how-to for diff girdle/support cover?

well, i just ordered a diff girdle support/rear cover and panhard bar relo-bracket tonight to accent the new 4:10's. but i cant seem to find any how-to's for this. i hear it's fairly strait foreward, but i like to prepare myself by knowing what i'm doing before i even start if possible. i am especially curious about how much torque to put on the studs in the cover.

here is the kit i ordered
moser/bmr diff support cover and panhard relo-bracket

anyone install one of these recently and want to share some knowlege on it?

any help would be awesome.

Thanks - Tony

They make low profile covers that use no relocation brackets. I have a LPW. Ford racing also.

The cover should come with instructions with torque specs. The carrier pre-load studs should be 5lbs. MAX. If you are installing studs for the carrier caps, torque them at 10ft.lb. in the housing and the retaining nuts to 85-90ft. lb.
