Looking into the GT

Fair enough - after all, it's your thread.
I attempted to describe how that particular sentenceshould be reasonably interpreted. For the record, yes, I do agree that it is a mild put-down of automatic drivers. With the operative word being "mild".
What I won't do is attempt to rewrite that statement into a politically correct shadow of itself.
PC would ultimately turn the art of sparkling conversation/communication into something dull, grey, and lifeless. Nobody will dare to say or type anything controversial for fear of offending somebody. Aacckkk, give me a break. I'm old enough, secure enough in my own beliefs, and just crotchety enough to occasionally go anti-PC to help keep things from getting to that point.

Not that I DON'T have a biased opinion but, FWIW, I wouldn't have bought a Stang with an automatic tranny. And since I was the guy that STARTED the V6 vs. the GT "drama" (in which I had to request the Admins to close the thread), I'll shutup now...

LMAO @ Nuke. I wasn't necessarily pointing you out, I just meant the V6 vs. GT threads that always pop up on this forum in general. In my eyes, a Mustang is a Mustang whether it's auto/manual, V6, GT, Shelby, etc.
