cams worth it?

Hey there usc49erfan, Cams are useless they say...No sir-ee bob.!!! Can't get the SMILE on my face to leave... Great sounding, and 30 more HP on a Mustang Dyno with no issues !!

The best part about cams are the extra powerband they provide IMO. The stock cams run out of steam around 6200rpm. Aftermarket cams make power out to 7k. I plan to run a centrifugal supercharger which also makes high rpm hp. I think it may be a good match for the FRPP cams. Not sure though, i'll have to research that more when the time comes.

They're stating ~370whp with the C&L intake manifold n/a. If I can make 450whp with low boost and the higher-rpm kick the cams provide along w/ 4.10 gears for a good launch... then I'll throw a rod .
