Post Going on the dyno...

Finally Tomorrow I go on the dyno w/SCT tune install, I hope I get some decent numbers. I weighed the car the other day and it was 3,560 lbs. man I didn't realize they weighed that much, but that figure can be plugged in now for the dyno. I will post results here.

My car did 288 hp and 310 ft lbs torque 2 weeks ago in a dyno. You should see similar results.

what does the vehicle weight have to do with getting your car dyno'd?

Default My results........

First let me say while talking w/ the tuner he said that the Mustang Dynamometer will show a 10 hp less than a dynojet, something to do w/ weighted drums on the dynamometer where as the dynojet is free wheeling and not a true reading. He and Charlie Booze said also that A/T lose about 10 hp thru the torque converter. He proved that when he locked the converter. My runs where done w/ it normal though. It seemed that the Big Daddy Perf. CAI does help give it about 12 to 17 hp because of the way he has the fuel curve set up, also have the FRPP Shorties do not know if they really added anything or not.
Temperature was around 63* then went to 59* as the evening progressed. I know enough already;

Eng Torque T WC (Ft-Lb) 244
Eng Power T WC (HP) 242

I had them do the math and that is 353HP @ the crank....so there are my figures, I didn't get to get a seat of the pants try because it started to rain before I could get out of there
