I am looking for a tire that rides great first , handles second. I have been looking at the surveys and think I have it narrowed it down to the Yokahama Advans or S drive for my supercharged 06 GT Mustang. Don't worry I have a set of Drag radials in the garage for play time. I am just tired of the ride my Raptors are giving me.

I do not do auto cross but was wondering if the extra $200 is worth the price of the Advans

Well, I have the S drive on all corners and they feel great and they hook much better than the cr@ppy Sumitomos I had before.
They're still too knew to tell if they wear out OK or not.

The tire man I use tells me that they're close in quality than the Advans.
Since you want the feel over handling, you just answered your own question.
Save the $200...
