Default Warm Air On Driver's Side

Sometimes I can feel warm air blowing on the driver's side down by the pedals. Does anyone know what the cause might be?

Thanks

Is it blowing or radiating? I think we all have that problem, I've always assumed it was heat radiating off the firewall.

Yeah, bad beans...

Assuming you don't have your right dash dial on the floor position, it could be the trap doors not working properly on the ventilation system.
They could be sticking a little.

If you have that dial on the 0 position (vertical), you shouldn't have any air circulating in the car with the windows up...

I guess it really isn't blowing. Radiating might be the right word, but when you put your hand down there it is pretty warm.

Of the unit under the dash on the passenger side.

Drivers side is definitely warmer than the passengers side. Maybe we need more of that heat shield reflecting sticky tape stuff underneath the car.

I've noticed on mine if I run the heater control in the O position it radiates a lot of heat out of the dash vents, even with the temp. control all the way down. I just assumed it was under hood heat radiating through he system.

If I turn the control to the dash vent position it brings coooler air through them and then all is fine. Took me awhile to figure out why I was always "hot". LOL

Not a problem for anyone else???

You got two cats stuck under there from the factory.
The run at 1100 to 1800 degrees.
No heat shields to speak of.
You do the math...

I have an offroad x-pipe and I still feel the heat radiating by my feet.
