Question wheel/tire combo whatcha think?

Ok so I'm about to get four FR500 wheels 18x9 in anthracite (maybe chrome dont know if i wanna spend the extra $$) from discount tire for $104ea
I'm planning on wrapping them in Nitto NT05's 275/40/18 from ebay motors $377 for two.
Opinions please?

why not stagger a little, but that should still look sweet, is that the right sidewall height for a 18 though?

What is the recommended width range for that tire? If I recall, most 275's require a minimum 9.0" width but it really depends on the tire manufacturer's specs.

Have you looked at getting your setup all from one place, like Cruizin Concepts? Just wondering, because I'm pretty sure Mike would be able to get you a better deal than that. I mean, with what you just mentioned, you're looking at $1170, not including shipping costs from two different places or the price to have them mounted and balanced. And any reason for going with Nitto NT05's rather than something like NT555's?

I just went with black FR500's in a staggered setup (my thread) from Mike and got a better deal compared to what you're looking at for a normal setup. Like I said, I'm just wondering; I'm not trying to tell you what to do!

275 is the widest you will want to go on 9" rim, or so Im told. Personally, I run 255s but will be goin 275s on my next set of tires. Chrome or anthracite? Tough call. I have some pics for you, the first 2 are not fr500s but at least you can see how the colours go with sonic blue. The last pic is vista with chrome fr500s (sry about that one its the only one I have)

anthracite on sonic

chrome on sonic

chrome fr500s on vista

I cant speak for the other companies but I got my rims from american muscle and they have helped me out HUGE when I recently had an issue with my rims, so I'll vouch for them.

P.s. thats a good price on anthracite fr500s but I would go chrome.

I'm getting discount tire to price match the ebay price bc its really helpful if you have a flat or nail or some thing they fix it for free if you got the tires there pluss free mounting/balance/rotation for the life of the tire. Or else i would go with Mike.

Ya I went chrome I just can't go from shiny to not shiny. And I got 170 on the wheels 180 on the tires. 275/40
I'm happy, that's what matters. I can't wait till they get here.
