Default Borla Mid Muffler?

Hey guys, I saw a video of a mustang with Pypes mid muffler on it and I got the idea of moving my Borlas in front of the axel. I was just wondering if would sound better and what you guys thought about. TIA

they will fit? the borla cans are relatively big. If it is possible an o/r h or x will really set it off

Well, It looks like they will fit right where the driveshaft connects. I'm goin to talk with my uncle and see if he can do it.

Im assuming your going to have the borla's welded in and just run straight pipes? Keep us posted with pics/vids!

It wont fit.. The pypes MM only leaves 1/4 inch of room to spare...and the borlas are 1/2 inch more in diameter than the pypes. so youd have to find a unique location to mount them. I think it would sound amazing though and if i were borla i would surely be working on making a mid-muffler for the S197!

Pypes uses their M-80 mufflers in the MM system which are 4" round. Borla uses their S-type mufflers for the Mustang system which are 5" round. Either way, I agree they won't fit if you're trying to mount it behind the H pipe near the driveshaft. My Dynomax resonators(in my sig) are 4" round and it was very close.

I looked at the dimensions at both and I saw that the Borlas were bigger. I looked under my car and i think my uncle can fit them in there. I'm a little worried that if I lower my car I might have issues.
