I saw an post from a guy doing a walkthrough on swapping our mirrors out for 2010's, with a nice looking paint job. If you check it out, I'm sure it's around here somewhere close.

 

Here's the idea ICIBUY...
Painted cup only, and also, the inside is left alone so it's easier to clean.

 

untill the day comes and your stang is beside another with agent 47 mirrors and then u see these giant f -350 mirrors on your car......then you will hate the stockers and fnd everythig wrong with them....give it some time lol

 

Beside not really fitting the body lines of our car very well it blows my mind it took Ford until 2010 to paint match them.

This is the thing with those mirrors...
When the S197 came out (not knowing I'd ever own one), that was the first thing that jumped at me:
-Ugly big square mirrors.

The second was another idea burrowed from a truck:
-The rear end sticking out in the air with the wheels too far inside the body work.

 

trust me my f250 has bigger mirrors
