Default Rear Bumper (accident)

SO.. I was about to back in a parking space, my friend decided to go ahead and drive behind me thinking I was pulling in. There were no cars in the parking lot. I looked to my right to see if he was there and he wasn't. So I started backing up, he noticed me and floored it to try to get out of my way. out of the corner of my eyes I caught his lights in my rear view and then Plunk.
We caught the corner of my bumper and his truck bed. Insurance says it's my fault because I WAS BACKING UP... I think it's fu**ed up, He was halfway in the parking spaces..

Anyways, is there a way to go to get a stock GT bumper painted and shipped that could be under $500? That's my deductible, and the local shop quoted $560. All I need is a bumper, luckily nothing else got damaged.
Thanks-

Check ebay and the classified section here, that would be your best bet.

newtakeoff.com its a lot cheaper than 500 bucks shipped. Also brenspeed has some which they post on ebay. Look around man and you can get it cheaper and your insurance wont be affected....

Not sure if you looking to upgrade, but now would be a good time!
If you have the right part number you can get the gt/cs rear for ~300-350, have it painted, and install yourself. It would probably be right around 500 if i recall the prices my insurance had to pay when i got hit.

even if you went to the parts shop at ur local ford dealer and bought it from them and had it painted it shouldnt be more then 550... i think i got my gt rear bumper for 280... but i cant remeber, thats still 220 for prep and paint, which it wouldnt cast that much for a bumper, especially if it is a genuin ford bumper, it shouldnt have any imperfections that would run up the bill

a little OT... thats why when i back up i floor it, because if im gunna hit something im gunna make it count! i wanna make people fear the mustang!!!
