FRPP Ring & Pinion Part Number Suffix
As discussed in prior posts, the alpha suffix on the FRPP part number designated who makes the gear set.
From what I've gathered, the suffix "A" represents American Gear while the suffix "M" represents Motive gear. I've heard good things about American Gear, but I've heard more that a few complaint about gear noise when using Motive gear sets.
I'm contemplating installing a FRPP 3.73 gear set which ends in the suffix "N".
Can anyone tell me who is represented by the "N" suffix and most importantly, has anyone used the FRPP 3.73 "N" gear set. My objective is gear quietness.

M-4209-F373-N is a ford part # so I'll assume they are made by ford. I've heard ford has turned to motive to make gears for them, but I've not see them yet in the Ford racing catalog. I have these same gears in my mustang and they are high quality and make no noise so it doesn't really matter who makes them. I needed no other shims to set it up correctly so that also leads me to believe they are made by ford.
