Default question about what lights to get

hey guys...I just bought the Retro Solutions 55W H13 6000K bixenon HIDs for my car and was wondering what the best bulbs to get for my Roush fog lights would be to match the blue color of the HIDs?! any help greatly appreciated

Match your fogs to your 6000K HID headlights and they won't be fogs anymore. Yeah, it'll probably look cool but you'll be sweating bullets at night under poor conditions. You begin to lose useable light above 4000K - 4500K. And the lower temp bulbs in the fog lamps add needed contrast in dark, poor conditions.

I would think that most any 6000K H10/9145 bulb would be a close match. After all, 6000K is 6000K but then, I've never tried to take a functional fog light and make it just look like a headlight.

After a lengthy back and forth with the owning company of MF, they finally decided that legally speaking we were right! So, with all that hopefully in the past we are back and more than ready to once again support the MustangForum members with discounts on our quality products and general automotive lighting help!

Glad to be back with you all!

What about silverstar bulbs? Anyone got a link to the ones that would work on our fogs?

Silverstars are 4000K. The Silverstar Ultras are 4100K. Both are still too high temp for useful foglights but the OP is looking for color to match his 6000K HID's.

do you think these would work for my Roush Fog Lights?! and if so which one?? has a drop down of options

they use the same wattage as the factory lights just have a blue color to them...so I would imagine I wouldnt loose any functionality out of them

They'll work, you will loose some output over the stock bulbs though

That I am not sure to be honest with you. Can you pull the bulb out and read the printing on the base?
