No BS dude there was 3 guys with tire irons trying to remove A single tire lol, I think i got a good case also because the machine they were using broke and they had to run across the lot and use another one. I have a question though, Can i bring up the fact that they spend 2 1/2 hrs to mount and balace 2 tires as an excuse that they were struggling with the wheels hece why they were damaged?

I always ask to see the brand and model of the tire machine.
I had my 18s done on a Coats 7060AX with zero problems.
You can download the pdf for just about any quality tire
changing machine and see if they are using the proper one
for 20" low profile deep dish or whatever rims you have.
Every employee including the boss got an eye full of my
undamaged rims before they ever did any work on them.

The wheels are 19's. I felt like such an idiot afterwards for not making sure that the service guy had noted that the wheels were in great shape before installation. Good thing the assistant manager saw the fresh metal flakings, Now i hope he doesnt deny it

I try to stay away from places like PepBoys for service and will only use them in an emergency. I'll pay a few extra $$'s and drive a few extra miles to get service where I know the techs have more training and experience. Sorry you have to go thru this hassle.

Did you use your credit card?
If so, you have to contest the charges.

Also, grow some ***** and sue the bastards!!

not all are bad. i just had 275/35/20 and 295/35/20 tires mounted on my new wheels and most places I called either wouldn't do it or wanted $200+ to do it. I called my local Pep Boys and they seemed very confident over the phone that their machine could do it with NO problems so I took it there and it cost like a hundred bucks and they came out perfect. On a side note I called one shop and they were like "ahh... yeah... I guess we could mount those we've done a couple 20's before" they DIDN'T seem confident so i didn't go there. never hurts to ask if they are comfortable mounting that size tire. i think a place will usually be honest just because they don't want any problems like you're having.
