Nitrous Help
So I just bought the zex kit from a member here on this forum and I just got it in the mail today along with me also buying the bottle opener, purge kit, tps switch and pressure gauge. Now I will be buying the heater, and blown down tube eventually cause I dont go to the track much and I live in florida and its always hot here so no need for heater till winter. But my question is this, Im going to be running a 100 shot and I got the colder plugs and getting in dynoed aswell, but do I need to upgrade to a bigger fuel pump, like say the kenne belle BAP? I was also looking at installing gauges on the inside an was wondering what guages you all recommend? I was thinking the Cobalt wideband A/F, fuel pressure & bottle pressure? Also what else is there that I should buy for the kit anything else cause I think ive listed and/or got everything needed.

you will be fine with the stock fuel pump for a 100 shot. id get a BAP if you move up to a 125 shot just to be safe but the stock pump should be good for the 125 shot as well. 150 and up definitely get a bigger fuel pump or bap. i have a zex plug in heater for sale if you want. brand new only used 2x at the track. pm if interested.
make sure you get a custom tune and not a mail order tune. trust me.

I'd recommend paying the extra money and putting the gauge in the car. I ran it in the trunk for a while, but it's much nicer when it's in the vehicle. Pressure is critical when you spray, better to have the information where you need it. As far as the blowdown concerned, it's inexpensive and good to have for safety.
Think back to high school chemistry and what happens to a compressed gas when you release it from a cylinder. It expands and cools the cylinder...that means your pressure will drop. The same thing happens to nitrous oxide when you spray. It will take a while for the ambient air to reheat the bottle, even in Florida!
