short story. i have 05 v6 auto, 13000. dealership want to sell fully upgraded gt that has been on lot a month and a half. offered to pay mine off fully and no down payment for 500 a month. awesone deal. wife tripped and said if i buy car shes divorcing me next week and shes is being very sereous. what to do. i love the yellow 5 speed gt fully upgraded and i will never get a deal like that again, please help

Sounds like if a lousy car will end your marriage, then its near toast anyway. Just make sure she doesnt get it in the divorce!

Dude, like Redfire said if she's giving you an ultimatum over a car than your marriage is in a tough spot. Take it from a guy that just filed for divorce 2 weeks ago. Unless you are able to work a really good divorce settlement you will problably only have the car for a few months before you lose it in the divorce (either financially or through property division).

My recomendation, wait on the car, figure out if your marriage is worth salvaging, then reconcile/divorce.


My lawyer said I lost the only sympathy card I had with the judge when I ordered my GT.
