Default Need some exhaust help

I have a splice in X pipe and boomtubes. I still want it louder but, for some reason theres a good bit of drone at about 3k. Its has gotten to a point where if im driving all day, the next day my hears hurt from the drone, not the loudness. Im not sure if it may be from the X or the boomtubes but putting it back to stock really isn't an option

Im looking for louder, I was thinking of running an O/R H with the boomtubes, if thats not loud enough im selling the car and geting a 2V haha. I saw somewhere on here and i can not find now but taking cats off may drone a bit more than stock.

What i want is to those who have the boomtubes will know what im talking about is the cold start. They crackle snap when there still cold esp if you have your car backed up to like a wall. I want that all the time. I think that the O/R will help me get there. Does any one have any input to my drone and ideas for going loud.

If you want to get rid of the drone, you need Corsa mufflers. No other muffler will totally eliminate drone. Even the stock mufflers drone more than the corsas. An off-road H pipe will give you the deep raspy crackling and popping, but with the boomtubes, i think you will go deaf. Here is a video of my car with the stock catted H-pipe, JBA shorty headers and corsa mufflers.

I have the SLP loudmouths and surprisingly no drone here. just my rear view mirror ( aftermarket one ) that makes a little noise here and there because of the loudmouhts. lol

and they are louder than boomtubes too. so that might solve your problem

The loudmouths have crossed my mind, i think that they might snap and crakle a bit more with out the baffeling in them also. I know the stock and the GTAs are not known for drone, but there not the sound im looking for. Corsa are a bit too much for me, though they do sound very nice. I was looking for a cheaper fix.

DRONE IS A COMPROMISE THAT NEEDS TO BE MADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! people if drone is that annoying dont expect a loud/aggressive sound. Either your car is quiet and tame or it drones. Get an o/r prochamber and deal with the drone because it will be worth it.
