Does anybody know how to connect an iPOD up to the shaker 500? and what you need to buy, and where?

Well, the fast way to using the IPOD would be to get one of those little FM transmitters, especially since there is no cassette tape. Thats what I use for my XM MyFi.

Good job checking out the compatibility list before you went and posted. They don't even make one for Ford.

Next thing, this company is suppose to be searching a way to get this to work with the 2004+ Ford Radios. But nothing is released on that yet.

Jackass, what am I.. his personal valet?? I just did a quick google for him...am i supposed to read for him too?

I didnt say that company per se will do it. If you read what i said ... I said START HERE.. as in "let me point you in the right direction"..or "here is a good starting point for your research" because its pretty evident from his post that he doesnt even know what an icelink is .... Reading is Fundamental!

Just use this. http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/itrip/

It works just fine, the only time you may have an issue is in large cities where there are fewer 'free' frequencies open. Other than that, its good, and the quality is decent, although not pure CD quality of course. But hey, what do you want for no cords, no plugs, no hassle, and easy streaming over a FM frequency.
