If you had a Ferrari or equivalent exotic, you'd be more at risk but in your case, it would be a lot of trouble for a Mustang (please, don't take offense).

For regular anti-theft, a kill switch helps a lot...
hehe...no offense taken in the least. You are 100% correct in my opinion...its just one of those things. Real good friend is getting divorced and his wife showed up at his house and emptied it while he was at work one day. I was trying to give him advice on things he could do to prevent this kinda thing from happening but he didnt want to listen cause 'she'd NEVER do anything like that....'.

I cant imagine anyone going so far with the house already set up with an alarm and it being monitored, but this IS my ferrari =] so I'd rather make it a pain in the *** for anyone to try some sort of stunt.

One more thing...
I you have Pirellis or soft compound tires, you might have a flat spot on them for the first day. Don't be surprised if you have a little wheel shake.

I think the battery is your best bet. The fuel pump fuse is a good one too.

When I go out of town for any length of time, I put my Harley in front of my Mustang in the garage sideways, and pull my car right up to it, close garage door, disable electic garage door opener and than pull my F-150 in the middle of the double garage door almost touching it. Hey, I'm on Long Island, call it being parinoid but times are getting desperate here, last week someone broke into my workshop shed and stole 3 of my sons BMX bikes, his pocket bike and a go-ped. Now thanks to ADT my shed has it's own security system in it, my back yard has a monitored motion detector and we now have 4 surveillance camera's. Times are tough out there, don't take any chances.

I got a Lojack with a service that lets you know if someone is taking the car 100 feet from where you parked it. So if you are in the movies you get a text/email/phone call or all three

I really want to do this in the not too distant future. Definately something worth doing as far as I'm concerned.

They probably thought it was a police sting operation.
