you know that sounds like a defective bolt, as in counterfeit, because if it screws into the block that should take a lot of torque

Not with aluminum blocks though.

With the injectors being different, it will try to adjust itself to compensate, but might not be able to (and throw codes if it cant). Otherwise with your previous air intake in place, it should run ok.

(Will you be putting in colder plugs, too?)

yup, when installing my saleen, the block bolts only require 9 ft/lbs.
I snapped a bolt in there too cos I wasn't paying attention.

Pascal do the blocks/heads have steel threaded inserts? If yes I can understand the snap off issue, if no his steel bolt should have stripped the threads in the block/heads before it broke off in the block i think. In terms of strength I would have thought the bolts supplied with mounting a supercharger to an engine block would be harder than average because of the stress factor. Just guessing on my part...

I would NEVER drive an hour and a half with an untuned supercharger. You WILL damage something.

yea, i was starting to consider asking to borrow my fathers f350 and flat trailer. i bought the kit from an individual, but it is a brand new kit for 07-08 GTs. i need to see why Paxton included a tuner for 05-06 mustangs.

Good news!!! Sparks plugs came in today and ALL 8 came out pretty easy. Sprayed some PB Blaster and let it sit for about 2 hours. 4 came out very easy...4 creaked a little, but still not too bad. this is at about 32,000 miles. they dont even look all that bad...

it is most definitely supplied by Paxton. it is a special stud bolt spacer. i mean it was tight, but i was just trying to make sure it was in there fairly well considering it will be holding the supercharger. i feel like the stock bolts were in there tighter though.

well, i guess i shouldn't even risk it. i have both 39lb injectors and colder plugs installed.
