Default Shell Gas

The last 2 fill ups with my Gov. 06 Impala 3.5 v6 has been with Shell and I have noticed a difference in the acceleration and pep. I haven't had a chance to try it in the Stang yet, but was wondering if anyone else is using Shell and noticed a difference in performance?

I took a trip to Dallas,Tx last weekend and ran Shell fuel the whole trip and had no issues. I did notice a big gain in performance prolly just because of the drop in altitude.I went from 5,418ft to about 800ft in altitude. Love that oxygen!

I use Shell 93 or Chevron gas 93 on every fill-up.

No difference here. My car doesn't exactly like Shell (or at least, my old tune didn't), but it's the only place within 5 miles that sells 93.

The only difference I notice is my wallet tends to be lighter than if I went someplace else.

It is one of the better fuels, but the alcohol content messes with my AFR a bit... At least, it did on my old tune. I haven't been to the dyno since I changed tunes.

I always pick shell first... if I can't find it, I'll go somewhere else.

My car doesn't like the Shell 93 either..lol
First time I tried it, I just thought I had gotten some bad gas.
Second time, I said no more. For some reason my car really loves
Chevron. Exxon runs good...but something about the Chevron gas.
