How is the 410 gear (5 speed) on the hiway? What RPM's are you at doing 70 mph in 5th?

wow!! Thinking of going with 4:10. I am just asking because I hit the e-way alot. I have a 92 built 351w, c-4 with 4:10 and I have to run 55 or so to keep r's down. Did your 4:10 upgrade make a nice difference? Thanks

I love my 4.10s. I drove about 500 miles to LA this year and did about 24 mpg doing 80-85 the whole way. Pulls real hard over stock and 2nd gear gets the back end loose with a sticky set of 275s out back.

LOVE THE 410s!!! i hardly ever get on the highway but since i started summer classes at a community college for summer i have, its not that bad, 2500 rpm, 18.6 mpg avg with a mix of city and hwy. one thing im going to do is get a tune for lower octane since i only have a 93, (gas price is getting high!!) lol
