what base you on if it's Camp Pendleton the dont really care to much. believe me when I was running the o/r x and spin techs it was loud as *****, and they never gave me **** about it tint on the other hand don't get me started on that one.

 

OMG a Mustang a Marine base, no way! lol..... If it wasnt the most common car on base (especialy in the stumps) and I wasnt 100% sure yours wasnt one of the least moded at the moment, there might be a issue. But seriously, no one is gonna care at all. Just make sure you dont have to get it smogged before registering on base (if it isnt all ready.) I know when I had my stang there, PMO made me run a cali emmissons even though the car was registered in CT.

Also they had my car towed from my house in base housing while I was deployed in Iraq, and they towed it to a place out in town for some reason instead of the base lot, and my 4k System got stolen, and I had to fight to get my car back, and all 4 tires were slashed and a window was broken.

Yeah, 29 palms PMO is gay. Had they done there job, they would have checked with base housing to see that a extended absence from quarters was filed for the address the car was parked at.



On a side note, whats your rank? if your like a LCpl or lower, PMO will give you a hard time just because. If your a Cpl or above, you probably wouldnt be asking on here and have a lot less to worry about anyway.

 

The car is already registered on base so i don't need a smog test. Yeah i'm a sgt so they really shouln't give me trouble like you said JD Walton.

 

Are you at Pendleton, 29 Palms or Miramar? I know Cams are "illegal" here in Cali, but I don't have a definite reason why. I didn't ask about Comp ***** cams, but I have been told that NSR Comp stage 1 and 2 cams will pass smog. If you are interested in cams, look up www.lastcallracing.com It's a mustang performance shop out of San Diego. The owners Emerson and Patrick will take good care of you and they try there best to price match.

 

Your gonna have cop trouble no matter what you do, lol cops hate mustangs, its a proven fact

 

I have the Mother Thumprs with gutted cats and it sounds great. It won't get any louder, just grumpier. You will love it. Glad I live in MD. The cops even use Mustangs here in the Baltimore area. I'll be registering my car in rural N.C. shortly and won't have to worry about emissions at all.
