Default and luck with a powerball?

I bought one today and got through three rims before it tore itself apart. Was really expecting it to last a few months for the $25 price tag...
Anyone had better luck with one or a similar product to speed up rim polishing?
I took off all my rims and polished them and they look great but hand polishing the last one sucked (especially in the dark)
Think they have a 24hr warranty atleast?

mine fell apart also,i will never buy another one,way too much money for what it did. someone will come out with a cheaper version soon and ill try that one out.just like the california water blade, $19 or you can get the turtle wax one for $6,they both work the same.

If you have some good luck, I guess we will see your 1/4 mile times in the 11s or less. Horsepower costs money. How fast do you want to go?

I guess I'm in the minority here...I've got the powerball mini and I use it with the mother's chrome polish for my rims. Major thing is when you use the drill, put it on the LOWEST (read:SLOWEST) setting it has to avoid ripping it AND throwing the polish all over your driveway, lol. I like it because it takes me about 30 seconds a wheel to apply, I wait 2 or 3 minutes then wipe with a microfiber towel and I've got an awesome shine.

Just to be clear, are you all talking about the powerball that Chip Foose advertises? If so, by what everyone says, I'll be sure to stay away from them. lol
