Just plugged in my SCT X3 only to receive a File System Not Found error message. What do i do? The faster the reply the better! Thanks in advance

 

are you talking about when u plug it in to the computer or the car if the computer then do you have a 64 bit computer

 

Where did you plug in the SCT X3?

 

tried car first, got error message
tried computer second, got same error message
running WinXP btw.

 

I had the same issue
call SCT and they can fix it for you

they have some secret key combo that can tell the X3 to format the MMC card thats inside it

next call/e-mail the tuner you bought from and have them send the tunes to you (formating the MMC will erase anything that might have been on the mmc)

 

SCT Customer service FTW here. They remote connected to my Vista-32bit Laptop and did all the work to get my tuner online right infront of my eyes. Very nice, very fast. Just waiting for Doug to resend those tune files now. Thanks guys

just so you guys know the sct doesnt work on a 64 bit computer they said they are working on new software now
