Default Help Texans

I want to drive on a track (oval, ect)...Does anyone know when/how to do that except for 9-26-09 @ TMS?

(also posted in regional catagory, but figured anyone with insight to track experience with personal cars could help)

Some of my friends in Austin go here http://harrishillroad.com/ and LOVE it. It's just south of Austin (San Marcos area).

Eagles Canyon & Motorsport Ranch. Not sure what is coming up but I am not going out until the next Apex event at MSR when it starts to cool down. To frickin hot here in Texas, need to go back home where I could run Laguna Seca on a cool summer day.

I drive occasionally and work often at Texas World Speedway. It's off of Highway 6 just south of College Station. They just re-paved the oval over the Christmas break, but it still isn't in great shape and they haven't done a track day that utilizes it yet. They always run the 2.9 mile configuration. It's an absolute blast. If you're interested I have a weekend worth of credit for their Performance Driving School that I won't be using for a while that I would sell at a discount from the regular $295. It's one of the most high-speed tracks in the country and is an absolute adrenaline rush.
