I agree. Take some time to come up with a memorable way to present your present. A little thought will go a long way to heighten the signifigance/impact of this gift. If you wait til the wedding, you'll have more time to come up with something good.

A new house for the first anniversary.. I'm stuck in the same boat...I got my wife a Lhasa Apso puppy for our first wedding anniversary, then for our second we bought a new house...now I'm thinkin' what are we going to do for a third!?!?

You could go to a nice restaurant with valet parking but have a friend she doesn't know be the valet. Have that person park your car. When you come out after dinner, have the valet (your friend) bring the car around but have it be her car that gets brought up. Make a big deal out of it because it's not your car then when she's buying into it be all smug and like "oh, wait a second, this is 'YOUR' car' and hand her the keys I don't know your g/f fiance but I bed she'd always remember that!

 

Oh, and one more reason to wait, and this comes strickly from me not trusting women.

Give it to her after your married. What would you do if she runs off and says she got kidnapped or something to avoid marrying you? Women can be crazy like that. The car would be hers and you wouldn't be married, but you would still be paying for it.

However, I'm sure your wife to be isn't like that.

Good Lord that is one lucky, lucky woman. I'm jealous, I didn't even get a card on my wedding day. I say give it to her now, that way she can enjoy it now, but make a big deal out of it, women like that kinda stuff.

Put it in HER name and yes, you might have a "Driveaway Bride"!
Wait and the car will be half yours, assuming you have community property rights in your state.

I bet she knows all about your frustrations waiting for that grey stang that you ordered 9 months ago and all the happiness you have had sine you bought the Blue one. Now or later, it is all going to be half hers right? Just give it to her/you. Sure, she drives it everyday but I ber you wil be washing it and modding it and everything.
