Default Part Compatibility

Am I correct in assuming that suspension parts and engine parts for the 05-09 models are interchangeable with the 2010 model?

More specifically, cold air intakes for the 05-09 Mustangs will fit the 2010? Lowering springs for the 05-09 models will fit the 2010?

I am looking to purchase a few items in the coming hours and wanted to be sure.

Thanks!

I don't think everything is interchangeable because when I was shopping around for superchargers I found one that was 2010 only. It said it was not compatible with 05-09 GT's. So you might want to call whomever your planning to buy from and make sure.

Springs are interchangeable, as are axle-back exhaust systems. I doubt the CAIs are as the tuner and tunes are probably not compatible with the new ECU software.

Ok, so I shouldn't have a problem with the Eibach Pro-Kit (35101.140) and the Eibach Pro-Alignment Camber Kit (5.81260K).

Thanks!

I'm not sure about the camber kit, but I'll be ordering an Eibach Pro-Kit soon. I had steeda sport springs on my 2006 GT but I didn't need a camber kit as the drop was only about 1" and the alignment shop was able to get it into spec without them. I plan to call Eibach or one of the retailers to ask about any necessary camber kits for the 2010s.

If you don't mind, let me know what you find out.

Also, let me know if you decide to get the pro-kit. I can PM you where to get them for $183.90 shipped.

I'm definitely getting the pro-kit. I liked the steeda sports but they still had some wheel gap. I like look of the pro-kit and deep dish bullet wheels, especially with 10.5" tires on the rear. I was able to rescue my wheels/tires from my 06 GT after it was totalled but I hadn't decided if I wanted to swap the stock 19's I got on my 2010. The other day I came out of the gym and the car was parked next to a honda of some sort and they had the same width tires. Needless to say, I plan to swap the wheels this weekend

I would very much appreciate that kind of savings on the pro-kit springs, thanks! I'll post back here if I hear anything about the camber kits.
