Rear Wing Delete
I'm not sure how long you have to decide, but I will be getting my car back next week and could take pics for you from different angles. I had a new trunk put on without the spoiler. Know anyone wanting a used trunklid with a spoiler?
Wish I'd seen this earlier, but here's a link to some pics of mine before I took delivery. If you haven't already made your decision that is.

My advice would be go ahead and get it and not worry about what it looks like. Reason being, it is easier to add a wing or a ductail than it is to remove a wing and install a ducktail, or just remove the wing permanently. If you end up not caring for it, you have half the work done of correcting it for the path you choose ( ducktail or wing).

buying it with the wing delete is actually the more desirable thing to do if you can
I didn't get it
I went down there to get it but my pay-off on my trade-in was way to high. Damn this sucks, me being without a pony is killing me. Thanks alot for the responses though, I know now that the Rear Wing Delete option is OK. GOD i'm so depressed

i like the delete option but something i have seen done on older stangs and i just did it on mine is move the wing forward so it lines up with the trunk edge. all you have to do is remove the studs (they likely will come out when you try to remove the nuts) and move the wing forward and reinstall with the rear studs in the forward holes. those two studes will be secure enough dure to the length and support of the wing base. i'll get picts of mine. i like it much better than the wing hanging out over the trunk edge.
hope pictures posted here

My first one never had it installed, but my second one did.
Without the wing, it does look sharp, and is easier to drive when backing up. Matter of fact it gave me a better look at the mini-van as it came in to hit me.
With the wing(and SSE louvers as well), it is a pain at times to back up However, the car just looks so much better with it.
Unless you have a saleen or some kit that makes the back end look different, I recommend having it.

i had mine removed for a couple of weeks and reinstalled it one set of holes forward as my pictures earlier show. i had a 94 GT convertible that had a lip on the trunk that looked great without the wing. i now think the 05s that are smooth back there look better with the wing but i don't like the way it sticks out past the edge so i moved mine. i do like the coupes without the wing a little more, the roofline is more defined without the wing, but a convertible not.
