The 5.0's to me have a deeper sound than our 3V's.

5.0, every s197 owner dreams of having our cars sound as good as the old 2v or old Fox 5o's.

IMO.... 5.0 2 valve > 4.6 2 valve > 4.6 4 valve > 4.6 3 valve. Of course the mustangs from the late 60's and early 70's sound the best though!

fail.... since I am a owner of a s197 and Ive never dreamed or wanted my car to sound like a fox or 2v.

Put your s197 mufflers on the fox and see what happens lol see how much of a diff is from the mufler design or the engine

Yeah....I like how my car sounds. The 5.0's are nice, but every 5.0 sounds similar. With the S197 you have so many different combos as far as sound.

In the videos you can def tell a beast is comming when the S197 isnt even in the picture yet.

i couldnt agree with you more, TOMBSTANG. i like that my s197 sounds different, and i like that i am the only one on my small little island that has the M80's, it has a distinct growl with a touch of 'evil', as Tombstang likes to call it.

the s197 is more scary sounding. i have startled a few drivers as i pass them by, seeing the expression on their face when the exhaust is right next to them when i down shift and hit the loud pedal is priceless.

The S197 lacks tone. Too much volume.
