I justed ordered a C&L Racer from Brenspeed and I need some information on the O2 sensor. If the O2 sensor are left on will they affect the performance of the tunes that will be sent to me. I have an X pipe not a OR type. The reason I am asking is that I am from Texas and we have emission in this state. With the O2 sensors turned off I have been told that it will fail the emisson test.

Brenspeed wrote me a special tune that turns the o2 sensors back on for my emmissions test. I load it up every 2 years and pass, then revert back to the original tune. I dont know that it actually makes a difference though. I didnt notice that my car ran any different.
