Purchasing something from classifieds...How do you ensure 'fairness' on both sides...One side has $$, one side has part(s)...I almoist never purchase this way, but this deal is too hard to let go, and was wondering the 'normal' procedure

I "assume" you are talking about something that isn't local.....if it's something you want bad enough, you're just going to have to trust the person you are buying the part from and hope they are being honest.

I have bought from several forum members without any issues. Paypal has a dispute option if things dont work out.

Communication and pictures are key in transactions like this.

Welcome to 2009.

trust paypal, it's all I have to say. I've been screwed once on ebay and got my money back. on this forums though, smooth sailing. no issues at all.

I actually have better luck buying on these forum classifieds than via fleabay. But using Paypal is the key as it protects both the buyer and seller.
