Default Corsa mufflers with HF catted H video

Well some of you know my exhaust problem, not being able to find one i like. My MAC's will be here tomorrow so before i take the corsa's off i wanted to make a video of them for references and well, it may help someone else out.

As you can hear they do sounds great, no INT drone what so ever. Super quite when off the gas on highway and crusing. Loud when you get on but not so deep. Im getting some trumpeting/tapping and high RPM which you can hear in the last part which i do not like. Though its not as bad on camera, in person and in car its very clear from 4000 to redline. So enjoy and look for my MAC clip soon, fingers cross that i like them haha.

Depending how much i like the macs, yes there for grabs. Ive had them on craigslist for about 2 weeks as a feeler. Id really like to get rid of them locally to avoid shipping and paypal fees but who knows.

Nicely done! be forewarned...the macs will be waay louder! i tried them with my catted H and it was crazy loud, and the drone was amplified by the hi-flows. good luck!

Thats the only thing that worrys me is the drone. I had JBAs and some people said that they droned moderately and the MACs were moderate to too much. I thought the JBAs did not drone at all so a thing like drone is such a personal thing. But im hoping for loud, i had Boomtubes and an O/R H so haha ive had LOUD thats too loud for a DD. Im shooting for a deeper all around louder set up. But if they drone too much i will put a set of m-80s on and hope that helps. if not the MACs are gone and im gonna get Loudmouths and have essnetianly a Mid muffler set up.

Thanks for the heads up, did you have any trumpeting or pulsing sound with your macs and high flow cats?

Have you thought about switching mid pipes? An o/r pro chamber will probably smooth out the sound of the corsas and make it a little bit deeper. An x-pipe may work better with the corsas too. An x-pipe usually goes better with straight flow through mufflers like the corsas and an h-pipe usually sounds better with chambered mufflers.

If you are worried about drone, you probably won't like the Macs.

Im fearing the the tumpet more then the droning, but i will know this time tomorow haha. I can stand drone, my boomtubes with an X droned really bad for some reason. I can always buy earplugs on the road trips haha.

I thought about an pro chamber but never really pulled the trigger on one. I have an x pipe that is too work with the pypes catted h kit. but i welded everything up, both sides of the cat. So i cant just slip on the X and try which i wanted to do. Just wasnt thinking when i was welding it up. Id have to cut splice and weld. Ive done that once with the splice in X from FRPP and it was such a headach.

And if it drones too bad on the high way just a another reason to get gears. haha

the corsas sound good w/ the catted h. i think when its all said and done, you will wind up w/ the LM's and M80's.
