Default difference between tuners?

Whats the difference between say a sct x3 and the diablo one? Im considering buying a x3 but a cheaper option would be nice if its the same. What about even the x2? Should i save longer and get the x3 or go for a cheaper one?

I think more tuners support the SCT handhelds. Just check with whoevers writing your tune to see what they support.

+1.

For example, Doug at Bamachips tunes for both the SCT and Diablo. While Brenspeed only supports the SCT.

I believe they don't make the X2 anymore. The X3 is the newer version and for the same price I got my X2 back then. Unless you're getting a used tuner, I would opt for the X3.
