Default HELP!

I also posted this question in the tech area. I took delivery of an 07 custom Saleen done for the sema show. They only gave me one key. I went to my Ford dealer and they cut a second key, but couldn't program it. They said i have to have Saleen do it. Since I am in NY that makes it quite difficult! If I do a new non saleen tune do you think i will be able to reprogram the keys? It scares me to death having only one key. i have a bad habit of losing my keys for days at a time!

Find a different dealer. IDS is able to program up to 8 keys.Get a second opinion give saleen a call Monday they should be more than happy to at least tell you if the PATS system is dfferent than a GT, shouldn't be.

niether Saleen or Roush mess with the PCM.

all they do is modify the stock Ford tunes to allow for the motor mods and tranny mods (if applicable).

Your Dealership is retarded. They should charge you roughly $50 to cut/program a new key. The process has nothing to do with your PCM tunes.

They connect their spiffy module to the car and follow a set of prompts. This tells the PATS to recognize your new key & the old key.

recommend you find a competant dealership
