Default electric issues

I've been having some electrical issues lately on my 06' the last couple of months. It started out w/ a dead battery. I would jump the battery w/ the booster pak and my CEL would pop up the p0340 CODE. My A/C suddenly stopped working. The air would blow out of the defroster vents and the floor but not the dash vents, and blow hot to boot. Last week I finally changed out the Alternator to a bigger 200A alternator to help support the aftermarket AVIC D3, two amps and speakers all around. I figured the system was over powering the alternator. First off when I pulled the alternator off I found a nest resting on the block, so great I have a gritter. After replacing the alternator, the code reset, the engine fired right up, nice and strong and oddly enough the A/C started working again. the car was running great.

Yesterday I came out in the morning to leave for work, go to start the car and it took about 10 seconds to roll over. Almost like a drained battery. And now the A/C stopped working again. I'm just looking for any opinions on a possible cause, mabye fowled pluggs, clogged up injectors causing a rough start possibly. If anyone has any suggestions please start tossing them out. I want to try and figure this out before dropping the coin at the dealership to Dx and fix the problem.

Thanks

Def sounds like the alt was bad but then the problems are coming back so maybe there is something else wrong with the system. What do you mean you found a nest behind the alt?

Its strange that the AC stops working along with it having a hard time to start. Maybe tis just happening at the same time but 2 different problems? I would try to tackle them one at a time. Start with having a hard time to start, when it has a problem starting check the voltage on the battery.

Since you've replaced the alternator and battery and since we'll ASSUME they're working fine, check the main junction box in the passenger side kick panel. If you have the dreaded water leak issue (see the TSB's), you may have some corroding connections.

I pulled the plugs and found 5 of the 8 were burnt to hell, so I'm going to replace them come this weekend along w/ a set of the MSD coils I have and maybe.....maybe I'll be okay, hopefully. And I will definitely check the SJB on the passenger side for corrosion. thanks for the suggestions.
