I think my ID3 tags might just be fubar. Other commands work great so I have a feeling the songs I have are missing the ID3 field entries completely - they are probably blank therefore Sync doesn't know they exist. I'll have to analyze the MP3s to determine if this is indeed the case.

 

Maybe creating a profile will help. The system will learn your accent (how i understand it). You just repeat different words in sequence. It takes about 3-4 minutes.

 

Sync doesn't have any kind of voice training to "learn your accent".

 

Here is Manual page 37:

You can create user profiles in your voice recognition system to help train the system to fine tune its listening to a specific person (voice). To access:
1. press the MENU hard button
2. Select the "Feedback Settings tab on the touchscreen
3. Select "Edit"
4. Select "Create" to create eisther Profile 1 or Profile 2
5. Follow the voice prompt instructions

 

Maybe this is NAV only - for the non-sync voice commands (ie. climate control). I've looked all through the MENU and can't find "feedback" or any sort of profiles.

 

yes it does...in the owner's manual. it's also a prompt on my Nav screen. I am currently headed out right now. If you haven't gotten it or someone else hasn't helped you out already i will find my way back to it when i get back tonight...It's date night with the girlfriend
