Two months of Camaro outselling the Stang.......they have to do something. Any thoughts?

 

I bought my GT a month ago and got 0% financing and a $1000 rebate

 

Mine sticker was 29,500 they came down to 28,000 and I got 1,000 Rebate

 

the fad of the new camaro will wear off soon as there issues continue to pile up. i got 2k off my 2010

 

I got invoice less 50% of the $1,200 holdback, plus the $1k rebate.

Camaros are at sticker plus $2k - $5k dealer markup ... there's just no comparison.

Wife said it best today after seeing an SS on the steet: "it looks good but not timeless like the Stang."

Like the 1990 Miata, 1998 New Beetle, 2001 Mini and 2005 Mustang it's something perceived as "different" and will wear over time to a nominal level.

RE: Camaro outselling the Mustang... given the saturation of 'Stangs on the street, it is pretty impressive that the volumes continue to be this competitive. Especially given the lack of qualification for Cash/Clunkers.

What were the conditions for the college grad program? ie did it have to be a graduation within a certain timeframe?

 

x plan and 1k rebate. The fluff will wear of the camaro quickly, they have not made one in quite some time, so there is a back log of mullet heads waiting to buy thiers. Most of the camaro guys that I know hate them.

Where did you guys find the $1000 rebate? Is this regional? I should be taking delivery of mine in the next 2 weeks or so. I ordered May 9 and my salesman said I would get any incentives available when i take delivery. By the way, I'm in Connecticut. Thanks
