I have an 09 GT. It doesnt have homelink. sync or bluetooth phone systems. Does anyone know what the two "sensors" are on the map light overhead console? They are on the front corners of the console. They dont seem to do anything to me. I will post a pic if needed. Thanks.

 

If your talking about the ones on the square box attached to the ceiling .... they are for the security system on the car. part of the ACTIVE security should some one attempt to reach into your car while the system is armed and windows down. I know from first-hand experience as I have small children

 

Yup, its a motion sensor. But you can put homelink right in between.
