Default Key fob window down....

For what it's worth.....

I took everything I could find from here and the stangnet forums to my local dealer to have this option "enabled". I stood right there and watched him go through the procedure, from disabled to enabled, and.......it still won't work. My car was made in May, and by then, the mecahnic assumed, they had taken out the module entirely. The tech line says all Mustangs made after January 5th had it removed, but I have read posts from others who's cars were made after and it still worked. Regardless, mine doesn't[:'(]

They may have still used modules that had the option on cars built after Jan 5 just to use them up. I talked to a friend of mine who is a Ford Tech and that is the only thing he can come up with.

Mine was built Dec 14, and I plan to have that activated when I go in to have the Steeda Underdrives installed. [Man, THAT has been a hassel!]

Whats a fob? Pardon my ignorance. BTW, my mustang arrived today, but I have to wait until tomorrow to pick it up because the dealer has to put it through some inspection and the shop was closed today. Waiting the 8 weeks prior was no problem, but this last day is a killer!

was the car ordered for you? if so, you have a valid complaint. if not, you should have gotten a slight discount.
